Stakeholder Interview
During the Stakeholder interview I asked a series of questions concerning the business, their user and the platform. These questions helped me to gain a better understanding of how the business has evolved into its current model and where the stakeholder would like to take it in the future. From our discussion I was able to determine the stakeholder’s goals and what success looks like to them.
Stakeholder Objectives:
To get the platform to a point where it is trusted by the NHS and doctors include it in their workflow.
To be able to give advice / make suggestions for patients for their non - medical problems using AI without a dietitian or doctor.
To provide tailored and personalised meal plans that can be adjusted based of data provided from tracking by dietitians.
Success Metrics:
Doctors reporting they are satisfied with the insights from tracking as it helps them make a better diagnosis and prognosis.
Doctors making patient referrals to the platform.
Improvement in patient health.
Market Research
Insights that can be drawn from the table are:
Insight 1: Human dietitians remain central across all platforms — AI augments care, but doesn’t replace it. Why This Matters: Trust in health is still human-led. The role of AI isn’t to substitute expertise, but to scale and support it — meaning the strongest products will balance automation with credible, human guidance.
Insight 2: Personalisation is a baseline expectation across all platforms, not a point of differentiation. Why This Matters: Users now assume tailored recommendations as standard. Competitive advantage comes from how personalisation is delivered — through better data, UX, or outcomes — rather than the fact that it exists.
